“Kelli Wilde and Laurent Champeau, each one possessing his own particular skills, tastes and experiences, decided to join forces in order to bring to life their vision of interior design with an underlying French spirit that is, at the same time, modern and comfortable.
Born in the United States, Kelli Wilde studied Art History and began working in Parisian art galleries Karsten Grave and Samia Saouma and then joined Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi in 1994 working on private residences for a variety of clients around the world. She acquired a broad knowledge of decoration and interior design, developing relationships with clients, craftsmen, and suppliers while working along side Tino Zervudachi. She combined this knowledge with her background in art history, contemporary art and her innate attention to detail, passion for fabrics and materials, colours, objects and furniture.
Laurent Champeau, of French and British ancestry, earned a degree in design and architecture summa cum laude from the LISAA IDEA in Paris. He worked as creative director and project manager for luxury hotels and Giorgio Armani Cosmetics before joining Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi in 2006, where he assisted Tino Zervudachi. While at MHZ, Laurent was in charge of developing and managing projects in France and abroad including private residences, boutiques, planes and yachts and became well versed in all aspects of interior and furniture design.
Kelli Wilde and Laurent Champeau met in this prestigious agency and eventually decided to go on their own and Champeau & Wilde was formed in November 2011.”
